FLEX draws inspiration from Tom of Finland, muscle magazines, and in person muscle worship events hosted by JimmyZ in LA. Combining my passion for hot built muscular bodies with a touch of camp humor, FLEX is a love letter to the preoccupation of strong muscular bodies.
FLEX is an inclusive space. It’s the event for big men and their admirers and that pretty much encompasses everyone. Come as you are and celebrate that.
Enjoy an evening of flexing, cruising, and dancing with some of the sexiest men around. Hosted at midnight, there’s a bicep contest to win fabulous prizes and a hands-on muscle show.

I first found the illustrations of the men of Tom of Finland with their rugged outlaw masculinity. That led to magazines and videos of bodybuilders flexing and working out. I was captivated. Iconic producer JimmyZ gave life and color to my muscle worship fantasies just like he did for so many other men. I wanted an event that celebrates these men and those of us who admire them or emulate them. And I realized that to have the muscle worship event I wanted, I would have to create it myself. I was inspired by those who came before me, and hopefully FLEX is inspiring others as well.
